The Estonian Heavies come

in a heavy duty wooden

crate constructed of Birch

and softwood.

This measures:

43" long x 36" wide x 39" tall

(110cm x 91cm x 100cm)

There are over 500 logs

in each of the crates and the

weight is approximately

4400lbs (250 kilos)

Each log has a maximum length

of around 12" (30cm) or less

information for the Heavies

In Estonia there are two different species

of Birch - the Silver Birch (Arukask)

and the Downy Birch (Sookask).

Downy Birches are slower growing

than the Silver Birch but they both

have the stunning white bark which

protects the tree even in the

severest frosts.

When you touch Birch bark on a

hot summers day it feels cool to the

touch but in winter there is a

warmth about the bark.
